Taking Information Public (TIP) is a blog set up to assist the unemployed members of Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 105 find work, mobilize, and gain market share.
You may remember that I posted that Eberhard SMC was awarded the architectural sheet metal contract on this project, along with Preferred Heating & A/C back in early January, but had not started work yet. Well I met with the Foreman (Raul Sanchez) running this project for Eberhard today who told me that they are only about 15% complete with their scope of work.
Western Allied Corporation has won the award for the tenant improvement work on the USC Health Sciences Building project that I reported on in January. Altmeyer & Son's has completed the core duct work and are no longer on the job.
